About Golden Rose
This website and the name Golden Rose Angel was inspired by my sister Kelly.
Here is Kelly's account … My mother was raised in Knock, County Mayo, Ireland, a place forever connected to the apparition of the Blessed Mother. She carried her Irish faith with her throughout her life and even taught us to bless ourselves in Gaelic. After my mother passed, I found myself increasingly drawn to the story of Our Lady of Knock and to the many accounts of the Blessed Mother’s apparitions around the world. I chose this statue of Our Lady of Knock for my garden as a beautiful reminder of my mother, her faith, and the place she once called home. For me, it is a special connection to both the Blessed Mother and my Irish roots.
This Statue says:
Golden Rose, Queen of Ireland
all my cares, and troubles cease
as I kneel with love, before you
Lady of Knock
My Queen of Peace
Pray for me
